Wallet is now Walt: everything you need to know

As of September 28, 2026, the Wallet app is called Walt. It’s the same service as before. Your account and funds are safe — you don’t need to move them anywhere. We’ll tell you what has changed, where to find Walt now, and whether you need to do anything after the name change.

Wallet is now Walt

The Wallet app was renamed to Walt on September 28, 2026.

We have changed the name, logo, and some aspects of how the service works in Telegram. For example, Walt is no longer displayed in Telegram settings.

The way you quickly access Walt in Telegram has also changed: you can now open it via @walt. The username @wallet also works.

Walt’s main features remain the same. You still have access to all the products you’re familiar with:

  • custodial wallet (formerly Crypto Wallet)
  • P2P Market
  • perpetual futures
  • tokenized stocks and ETFs
  • Earn programs
  • DeFi Account
  • and other products

How to open Walt

There are several ways to find Walt.

  1. Open Telegram and enter @walt in the search bar (@wallet also works).
  2. Open Walt using the direct link.

To open Walt faster, you can:

  • Add Walt to your device’s Home Screen — you can find the instructions here.
  • Pin the @walt chat in Telegram. To do this, press and hold the Walt chat in your chat list and select Pin. 

Do I need to do anything

Do I need to create a new account and complete verification

No.

After the rename to Walt, you don’t need to register again or complete verification again. Your account, completed verification, and app settings will remain unchanged.

Do my balance, assets, and transaction history remain

Yes.

All your assets, balance, and transaction history remain unchanged. You don’t need to move your funds or set up your app again.

After signing in to Walt, you’ll see the same information that was displayed in Wallet.

Have my wallet addresses changed

No.

Your wallet addresses remain the same. You can continue using them to deposit and withdraw crypto.

You don’t need to change or create new addresses after Wallet was renamed to Walt.

What has changed in Walt compared to Wallet

As we mentioned above, Walt’s main products and features remain the same. Only some aspects of how the service works in Telegram have changed:

  • The official Walt address is now @walt.
  • Walt is no longer displayed in Telegram settings.

Which bot is now the official Walt bot

The new official Telegram bot for the Walt app is @walt. 

Will the @wallet bot still work

Yes. The Walt app now has two addresses — @walt and @wallet. You can use either, as they both lead to the same app.

How can I contact Walt Support

Official Walt Support is now available at @walt_support.

The previous address, @wallet_supportbot, also continues to work.

How can I make sure I’m using Walt’s official channels

Before opening the Walt app or contacting our support team, carefully check the addresses again:

The previous addresses, @wallet and @wallet_supportbot, also remain active and continue to work.

Walt Support will never contact you first and will never ask you to share your seed phrase or account access details. If someone contacts you and says they are from Walt, Wallet, or Crypto Wallet you should ignore their message and tap the Block and Report button in the chat. Similarly, you should never open unfamiliar links sent to you in any chat.
